SWANS’ FEAST CHRISTMAS 2021
CELEBRATING SURVIVING THE PANDEMIC THROUGH GIVING
In Unity with Gifts & Food To The Elderly, Shut-Ins & Homeless
Our “Swans”
On Wednesday, December 15, 2021 we will be having a survivors’ Christmas Feast dubbed SWANS’ FEAST CHRISTMAS 2021. This has been another difficult year for most of us, but you know what we survived! We made it this far! Let us welcome the Christmas season by celebrating the fact that we are the survivors, and what better way to do that, than through giving. We are therefore inviting you to unite with us, as we celebrate our surviving another year of the COVID 19 pandemic, through giving to The Elderly, Shut-ins & Homeless-The Swans. We urgently need donations of gift items, toiletries and most definitely food on or before December 3rd as we prepare to give the swans a grand feast for Christmas.
Background
We recognised that the least fortunate among us are constantly struggling to get food, clothing, toiletry and shelter. This has become especially hard since this COVID 19 Pandemic era. Based on this overwhelming need, on September 6, 2021, during the Lock Down / No Movement days, the Natasha Elizabeth Russell Upliftment Foundation embarked on a process of providing care packages, clothing, shoes and sometimes a warm meal to our Homeless, the Elderly and the Shut-ins. This outreach has been made possible through the NERUF Pantry Initiative, where kind persons have been donating weekly from their kitchens and closets, along with corporate sponsor GDI Distributors and the coordination of the Police from the Kingston Central, Community Safety and Security. The outpouring of gratitude for this initiative from the patrons has pushed us to continue helping and so now we have weekly distribution to our “Swans” every Wednesday at 3:00pm.
We are therefore seeking your help to continue this weekly life changing initiative for these persons and so we invite you to start now by contributing whatever you have to our survivors SWANS’ FEAST CHRISTMAS 2021.
We look forward to uniting with you in giving this Christmas season. Please know our swans will be especially grateful as you give them joy this Christmas! Remember “every likkle mek a muckle and one, one cocoa full basket".
Warm Seasons Greetings to you. Don’t forget we are survivors we made it this far let us celebrate!
Thank you so much
Yours sincerely,
Natasha E. Russell Douglas J.P.
